
He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph Henry Kelly Jr. and Annetta Kelly. He will be sadly missed by his loving wife of 37 years, Betty Bauman; his 3 sons Joseph Kelly IV of Oswego ILL, Scott of Grandville, MI and Patrick of Jenison; his brother Terry Cathy Kelly of Wayland; his sisters JoAnn Jim Bartz of Dorr, Patricia Dan Myers of Wayland and a large extended family and many friends.
Joe was an active member of Council 7487 Knights of Columbus, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He served as a volunteer Board member at My Personal Credit Union. He enjoyed Notre Dame Football, car shows, traveling and being with his family. Joe was employed for 32 years as a Tool and Die maker for Delphi Corp.
The funeral Mass will be celebrated 10:30a.m. Wednesday at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Fr. Ronald Hutchinson officiate. Burial will be at Georgetown Cemetery.
The family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Memorial Chapel, east building 4235 Prairie St. SW, with a vigil service at 7:15 p.m. Tuesday. If you are unable to attend the visitation please sign the family’s Memory Book at www.cookfuneralhome.com.
