Joyce Valk (VanderArk)

VALK - Joyce (VanderArk) Valk, age 85, went to be with her Lord Thursday, June 8, 2017. She was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Helen VanderArk; and her brother and sister-in-law, Jay and Marie VanderArk.

She will be deeply missed by her husband of 65 years, John; children, Al (Carole) Valk, Ed (Karen) Valk, Barb (Paul) Erffmeyer, and Mary (Jon) Diekema; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Helengene (Clifford) Doornbos; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Marie Valk, and Henry Hunderman; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM Monday, June 12, 2017 at Trinity Christian Reformed Church, O-60 Port Sheldon St. SW, Grandville. Interment will be at Georgetown Township Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet Joyce’s family Sunday from 5-8 PM at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville, and Monday from 10-11 AM at the church.
