Kathleen Frances Wedemeyer

Kathleen Frances Wedemeyer, October 15, 1945 - November 30, 2024, of Hudsonville, MI passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Richard Wedemeyer for 25 wonderful years.

Kathy was born in Lansing, MI, to Genevieve and Carl Williams. In addition to her husband, Richard, she is survived by her children Wendy (Michael) Siekierk, Brian Cairns, Daniel (Tess) Cairns; stepchildren Kimberly (Matt) Porter and Jonathan Wedemeyer; grandchildren Heather, Stephanie, Alysa (Martin), Lyndi, Jenna (Rex), Madison, Alexander; great-grandchildren Abigail and Olivia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her infant son, Timothy Cairns. Kathy was full of life, happiness, and love. She enjoyed every moment to the fullest. She loved spending time with family and friends and had many adventures with her best friend, Nancy. She touched a lot of hearts and will be missed by many.

A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, December 13, 2024 at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418, with visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to service. A luncheon will follow. There will also be a Zoom link: 851 7495-6629 for those who cannot attend the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice.
