My sympathies to the Gale family. I got to know Katherine & her family while working at Heartland years ago & was impressed by what wonderful & loving people they all are. Katherine was one of my all-time favorites. Such a beautiful smile. A beautiful person inside & out. A great loss to this life on earth, but a wonderful addition to an eternal life in heaven.

This week I lost a very special person in my life. She was my "reality check" on how really blessed I am. For the last eight years my friend was confined in a bed; blind, not able to speak and in pain most of the time. God had blessed me with her presence and the ablility to think about someone else other than myself. I know today that my friend is walking and talking, and dancing I hope, in Heaven. Experiencing the joys that only our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ could provide. This Christmas, may we all remember our wonderful friends that make life worth living and those that are there to show us that whatever our troubles, in them, we must be greatful.... I will miss you Kathy, but am so happy for you as I celebrate your life in the quiet of this wonderful winter morning...enjoying the snow that you always loved....see you in Heaven!

Sorry to hear of the passing of Kathy. What fun we had when she was my roommate in college. And the weekends we spent together when she was liveing in Paris, Michigan. Will never forget the hot dog pizzas and kool-aid. She is now at peace. Suzanne

I will miss visiting with Kathy as I have almost every Monday and Wednesday for as long as I can remember. She was a lucky lady to have such a great family- I don't think there was ever an evening I worked that Dave or one of her kids were not visiting. She will be missed. I am keeping your family in my thoughts and prayers.

There are never words enough at this time. I felt very lucky to have known Kathy while I was working at Heartland. She is a wonderful lady and was someone who inspired me. My God give you peace at this time.
