Kenneth Terry Breese

Kenneth “Terry” Breese, age 83, went to be with the Lord Saturday, January 4, 2025. He was preceded in death by his mother and stepfather, Grace and Robert DeFreese; father and stepmother, Kenneth and Margaret Breese; and sister, Sheila Koch. He is survived by wife of 55 years, Diane Breese; children Susan Brandon, Jennifer Browne, and Steven Breese; grandchildren Caitlin Browne, Stasha Brandon, Hannah, Hailey, and Brady Breese; siblings Peggy (Roger) Hill, Kendra Roberts, Kenny (Maureen) Breese.

He spent 40 years working at PCA where he developed lifelong friendships and worked with both his father-in-law and brother-in-law. He continued to look forward to his once a month “retiree” breakfasts which he attended throughout his retirement.

Terry was an avid sports fan; he loved playing, watching, and coaching sports. As a father, he enjoyed coaching basketball and football. As a grandfather, Terry enjoyed supporting his grandchildren in their dance competitions, football games, basketball games, volleyball meets, and gymnastics meets. He was a die-hard Spartan, Lions, and Tigers fan. He never missed a game.

Terry was a kind and gentle man who got pleasure out of life’s simple things. He loved doing projects, yardwork, feeding the squirrels and birds. Terry had the gift of gab, and loved to chat with anyone and everyone. He loved his family and was always worried about their well-being. He always made sure everyone’s cars had good tires and an oil change. Terry tried to help others as much as he could. He was very proud of his children and grandchildren.

Prayer service will be held 11 a.m. Saturday, January 11, 2025, with visitation beginning at 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. following the service at Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie Street SW, Grandville, Michigan 49418.
