Surviving are his wife of 44 years, Vivian; daughter Patricia Haas, of Haslett; sons, Robert Linda Taylor of Wyoming, Richard Marie Taylor of of Lansing; daughter, Lorraine Richard Adkins of Apache Junction, AZ; son, Edward Trudy Taylor of Ionia; daughter, Ellen Terry Asbury of Healy, AK; 12 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren.

The funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, May 9, 2003, from the Cook Memorial Chapel east building 4235 Prairie St. SW in Grandville, with Rev. Kenneth Myers officiating.

Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.

Friends may meet his family on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home west building in Grandville.

Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Michigan.
