

He was a preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Peggy Ball; his parents-in-law, Ed and Rosemary McCarthy; his brothers, Kenneth, Keith, Alan Ball; his sister, Ginger Jones; and his brother-in-law, Doug McCarthy.
Lynn will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 45 years, Ellen Ball (McCarthy); his children, Scott and Rebecca Ball, Michael and Nicole Ball; his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Isaiah, Evan and Carter; and his brothers, Laverne and Sandy Ball, Gary and Virginia Ball; and his nieces and nephews.
Lynn worked in the retail grocery industry at Meijer and Kehe Foods for many years, building lasting relationships with those he worked with and called on. He was a history buff and an Ohio State fan. Lynn loved to golf; being out on the course with family and friends brought him a great deal of joy and peace.
Visitation will be held from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, December 11, at Cook Funeral Home in Grandville, 4235 Prairie St. SW. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, December 13, at Rush Creek Bible Church, 2334 76th St., S.W. in Byron Center. Rev. John Spooner and Rev. Gary Leyendecker will officiate. Interment will be at Georgetown Cemetery.
