Margaret Topp-Stadt

TOPP-STADT - Margaret Topp-Stadt, age 91 of Grandville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 2, 2001. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Walter W. Topp; her second husband, Bert Stadt; and her sister Harriet Meidema. Margaret graduated from Hackley Hospital School of Nursing and served our community as a Registered Nurse at Mary Free Bed Hospital. She was very active in Senior Neighbors of Grandville. Margaret is survived by her children, Janice Gary Kurc of Chicago, Walter Katherine Topp of Traverse City, Mary Michael Goodkind of Chicago; grandchildren, Marisa, Walter and Felicia Topp and Josua Kurc; sisters, Georgia Breur, Julia Huisman, Florence DeYoung; and many nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday from Cook Memorial Chapel east building 4235 Prairie St. SW in Grandville. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Tuesday from 7 to 9 p.m. at Cook Funeral Home west building in Grandville. Memorial contributions may be made to Leelanau Memorial Long Term Care of Northport, 215 High St. Northport, MI 49670.
