Marian Jerene Burgess

BURGESS-Marian Jerene Burgess, Huizenga, age 89, went to be with her heavenly Father, Sunday November 14, 2010. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth M. Burgess and her sister Irene Koster. She is survived by her children, Marilou Ken Bazan, Bonita Larry Wormmeester, Harry Mary Burgess, Duane Jackie Burgess, Marcia Mick Van Solkema, Keith Renee Burgess; 16 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; her in-laws, Emma Jerene Burgess, Ardis Burgess, Annie Burgess, Dorothy Glupker, Geraldine Van Sweden, Roland Jo Strating, Jean Burgess and Kay Burgess; and many nieces and nephews.

Marian was the organist for the Reformed Church of Corinth for many years; and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Reformed Church of Corinth with Pastors Don Porter and Warren Burgess officiating. The family will receive relatives and friends Tuesday 6 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, 2067 84th St and one hour prior to services Wednesday at church.
