She taught elementary school for five years and enjoyed knitting, reading, and traveling. Maribelle was a member of Berean Baptist Church for 47 years and actively participated in Bible Study Fellowship for over 15 years. Although she struggled for 48 years with disabilities from a stroke at age 32, she was persistent with daily devotions and daily exercise. She was a fighter; she didn't give up. She was devoted to her husband and loved her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed by her husband of 58 years, Earl Culver; children Duane (Mari-Clare) Culver, Brenda (Mark) Gonyer, and Lisa (Dean) Woodard; 20 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and sister, Suzanne Gebby.
