Marilyn Ruth Van Dyken, age 84 of Jenison, went to be with her Lord and Savior October 10, 2021. She is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Clarence; their children Clare (Patricia) Van Dyken, Bill (Lisa) Van Dyken, Marijo (James) Bonner; grandchildren Chad (Katie) Van Dyken, Joshua Van Dyken, Nicholas (Kristin) Van Dyken, Rachel Van Dyken, Lauren (David) Kramer, Olivia Van Dyken, Keerstyn (Tyce) Dykstra, Hailey Bonner; great-grandchildren Annika, Casen, Eliza; sister, Arlene (Jack) Hoskins; brothers and sisters-in-law Simon (Lois) Van Dyken, Gerald (Joanne) Van Dyken, Janet Weidenaar, James (Donna) Van Dyken; and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
Marilyn enjoyed fishing with her husband, spending time with her family, volunteering at Kid’s Hope program at church and substitute teaching.
A time to visit with Marilyn’s family will be held from 12:30 - 2 p.m. Monday October 18, 2021 at Cook Memorial Chapel, 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, with a celebration of life service to begin at 2 p.m. Interment will follow at Georgetown Cemetery.
