Mary Lou lived a loving life of service to others and was cherished by friends and family. She was a very devout Roman Catholic who dedicated her life to religious education as a teacher in Catholic schools, as a catechist, and as a director of religious education. She treasured her friendships - many of which lasted for over 30 years. One of her greatest passions was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Her face beamed with joy at every opportunity to see them.
A funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Thursday, August 5, 2021 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 9408 Wilson Ave. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315, with visitation one hour prior.
