Natalie brought such joy and peace and love to every person she touched. I worked with her at Faith hospice and she never cease to amaze me with her unending love for people and her faith in God.She brightened my day every time I saw her. I know all the angels were singing when God welcomed her home. Well done Natalie welcome to the place where you belong. Yeah yeah yeah Alice

Words can't express how blessed we were to know Natalie and how much she ministered to our entire family.   Natalie initially came into our lives to take care of our mother, Wanda Spieker, and quickly became part of our family.  She genuinely loved Wanda (and us) and took the best care of her until our mom walked into Heaven.  She continued to visit our father, Ira, and he always enjoyed those times together. (see pic)  As time progressed, she took incredible care of him even though she wasn't part of the assigned hospice agency.   Natalie also touched base with us  and would always bring a smile to our face.  That is just who she was.  You mentioned that one of her favorite words was 'joy' which is what she brought to our parents, us and our children.  More so, the joy of the Lord and her love for Him was contagious.  Although we are so sad that she isn't part of this world and part of your lives any longer, we know that she is with Jesus, our parents, her family and and a host of others that she touched.  As she would want me to say, she will see you again and is looking forward to you sharing in the amazing and unspeakable joy she is experiencing right now!  May God bless and comfort you all during this time.

Natalie exuded joy. Every memory I have of her is in the full color of joy. Real true joy-nothing fake or pretentious. It is no surprise to read that it’s her favorite word. Natalie was motivated by love-love of God and love of others. I witnessed the power of Love that motivated her to give her best to those in her care and to defend those who needed care. She could sense others’ pain and knew how to help alleviate a bit of it. She showed up always ready to help and give whatever she had to offer, generously and happily. She was strong, physically - she was amazing how she lifted patients at work - but that was just evidence of deeper strengths of spirit and soul that defined her. Natalie was humble. All were welcomed and celebrated. She would encourage and lift others up so naturally that it was her trademark. She would also acknowledge her wrongs and apologize with the same love that motivated her joy of life. She was real and vulnerable and I loved her like a sister.  She loved Jesus. So much. She wanted to honor him by serving and loving others well. I had the privilege as a coworker as a Faith Hospice chaplain (retired) and a friend to bear witness to all this and to be a recipient of her love, support, and joy and so much more. I smile with every thought of Natalie. She was one that made you feel good about yourself and about life. She was the woman of valor in Proverbs 31. Although I thought the world needed her longer, I am comforted knowing her joy is complete and her work of service is fully accomplished and celebrated by our Lord as he welcomed her home with “well done you good and faithful servant.” 
Although I’m several states away my heart and prayers are with all those who love and celebrate Natalie. Family, thank you for sharing the photos; they help those of us unable to be present.

The first time I met Natalie at Trillium Woods, I told her I liked her necklace. She said "You do? Here take it! I've been asking God to make me more generous, so here." She would not take no for an answer. As our friendship grew, I learned she was the most generous person I've ever met. Now I have a beautiful handmade necklace from this sweet friend, as well as many notes of encouragement she has written to me over the years. Natalie always had a way of making you feel like the most important person in her life. What a gift. She blessed so many people in her life, so amazing. I just picture an endless line of people waiting to thank her in heaven.  She will forever be in my heart.

I've known Tim and Natalie, through wrestling, for nearly as long as we've lived in the Grand Rapids area (over 30 years).  Natalie was always extremely friendly and would go out of her way to say hello.  I used to joke with Tim and Natalie the first few years we knew them because it always seemed as though she was pregnant during wrestling season.  

Her and Tim were two of the nicest people you would ever meet.

My deepest sympathy to Natalie’s family; especially Tyler and Ellie .  Natalie was a ray of sunshine when my husband and father-in- law were in their final battle at Faith Hospice 7 and 8 years ago.

Natalie is an 😇 and gave words of comfort and held my hand at the toughest part of my journey.

RIP Natalie and may God wraps His loving arms around the family.
