Pat enjoyed traveling all over the country. She always loved to find some place to go and was eager to plan and organize the trip. She and Roger traveled extensively, including trips to Alaska and Hawaii.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 16 years, Roger Mekkes; brother, Dale (Jan) DeVries; nephew, Kurt DeVries; great nephew, Ryan DeVries; and several cousins.
Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Monday, April 24, 2017 at Eighth Reformed Church, 841 Burton St. SW, with Pastor Mark Milkamp officiating. Interment will be in Georgetown Cemetery. Family and friends may meet Pat’s family from 5-8 PM Sunday, April 23, 2017 at the Cook Funeral Home (West Building), 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville and Monday from 10-11 AM at the church.
