Paul DeGroot

DE GROOT Mr. Paul E. DeGroot, age 92, went to be with his Lord and Savior, Friday, September 11, 2015. Paul was born April 11, 1923 in Grand Rapids to John and Ida (Baker) DeGroot. He was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret; and his brother and sister, Arthur DeGroot, and Bernadine Faber.

He will be missed by his children, Sheryl (David) Dupy, and James DeGroot; grandchildren, Chris (Tammy) Dupy, Carey (Dan) Rodgers, and Courtney (Scott) Renkema; his great grandchildren; and brother, Calvin (Dee) DeGroot.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, 3:30 PM at the Cook Memorial Chapel (east building), 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville. Interment will be at Oakhill Cemetery, Grand Rapids. Relatives and friends may meet Paul's family Wednesday from 2 PM until the time of his service at the funeral home.
