Richard L. Schram

Richard Schram, age 80, of Jenison, passed away Saturday, May 31, 2014. He was preceded in death by his wife, Beverly Schram (Schrader); his siblings, Marie Dube, Phyl Bristol, Lawrence Schram, Pat Harmsen Hordendorf.

Richard is survived by his children, Curtis (Barbara) Schram, Laura (Ron) Jolman, Eileen DeJonge, William (Amy) Schram; his 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. His dogs Moose and Mike were a joy and comfort to him. Richard was dedicated to his work at General Motors where he was a Die Maker for over 38 years. He loved to play many sports when he was younger and enjoyed hunting and fishing at the cabin in Manistee.

Visitation will be held from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM Tuesday at Cook Funeral Home in Jenison, 1889 Baldwin St. The family will meet at 11 AM Wednesday, June 4, at Cook Funeral Home and then will proceed to Floral View Memorial Gardens, O-5371 - 8th Ave., for a Committal Service around 11:30 AM.
