Rita Jane Feeney, age 94, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, June 26, 2023. Rita was an avid golfer and loved getting together with “the girls” to play a couple holes regularly. She drove bus for Forest Hills Public Schools for 22 years. She valued the friendships she made with her colleagues and met regularly for lunches.
She will be lovingly remembered by her children Tom (Sigrid) Feeney, Sue (Tom Bedran) Udell; grandchildren Jaeger (Lauren), Kaylee (Bailey), and Carpenter. She is preceded in death and reunited with her husband of 62 years, Jim Feeney and her sister, Eileen Westbrook.
A Memorial Mass for Rita will be held 11 a.m. Friday, June 30, 2023, with visitation from 10-10:45 a.m. prior to the service, at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3937 Wilson Ave. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. In memory of Rita and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Faith Hospice - Trillium Woods.
