Robert Gordon Isenga

Mr. Robert Gordon Isenga, age 87, went to be with his Lord and Savior Thursday, August 11, 2016. Bob was born November 13, 1928 in Grand Rapids, MI to Siert and Gertrude (Veldhuis) Isenga. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Faith I. (Zanstra) Isenga in 1984; his second wife, Vivian (Walstra) Isenga in 1999; children, Jeff Isenga, and Patricia Isenga; and brother, Jim Isenga.

Surviving are his sons, Doug (Susan) Isenga, and Thomas (Wanda) Isenga; daughter-in-law, Marie Isenga; grandchildren, Jason (Amanda) Isenga, Nick Isenga, Morghan Isenga, Camille Isenga, Richard (Lisa) Van Dyk, Scott (fiancée, Smita Abraham) Isenga, Lucas Isenga, and Jacob Isenga; great grandchildren, Londyn and Lakelyn Isenga; brother, Don (Betty) Isenga; sister-in-law, Shirley Isenga; and nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11 AM, Thursday, August 18, 2016 at the Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building), 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville, with Pastor Todd Schmidt officiating. Interment will be at Floral View Memorial Gardens. Relatives and friends may meet Bob’s family Wednesday from 5-8 PM at the Cook Funeral Home (West Building), and Thursday morning from 10 -11 AM.
