Robert Metzger, age 89, passed away Saturday, May 7, 2022. He was preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Virginia “Jenny” Metzger (Strait); daughter, Barbara Bates. He is survived by his son, Ronald Metzger; grandchildren Cathy (Brian) Lange, Daniel (LaTori) Metzger, April Bates, Kenneth Bates Jr.; great-grandchildren Tyler Lange, Cayla Lange, Caitlin Metzger, Serenity Metzger, Jaelyn Metzger, Hayleigh Metzger; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1-2 p.m. Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, Michigan. Interment will be at Grandville Cemetery. The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book online at www.cookcaresgrandville.com.
