Robert Sorensen

Robert “Bob” Sorensen, age 90, went to be with his Lord on Sunday, July 26, 2020. Robert was preceded in death by his parents Soren and Hilda Sorensen; sister, Vivian Cook; brothers Gordy Sorensen and Harold Sorensen.

He will be remembered by his children Linda (Bob) Roberson, John “Bob” Sorensen, Barb (Doug) Miller, and Marie Sorensen; seven grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; three great-great-grandchildren; brother, William (Pat) Sorensen; nieces, nephews, and many friends.

Bob loved his country and served in the U.S. Army in the Korean Conflict. He was a character who loved spending time with his family, ice fishing, hunting, listening to country music, feeding Amigo, the raccoon, and petting his pet cat, Tuba. Bob would do anything for anybody. He will be missed by family and friends.

Visitation with family and friends will happen on Thursday, July 30, 2020 from 10am-12pm at Cook Memorial Chapel (East building), 4235 Prairie St. SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Interment will occur at Clark Union Cemetery, Fremont, MI.

In honor of Robert and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Emmanuel Hospice or Brookcrest Rehab and Life Center.
