Roger Len Conant

CONANT Roger Len Conant, age 83, born October 1, 1930, went home to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Monday September 15, 2014. He was born in Anna, Illinois and resided in Jenison and Hudsonville MI. Preceded in death by 4 brothers, 3 sisters, and son-in-law Dean Wierenga.

He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Carol Jean (Schut); his 3 daughters Terri (Evan) Dufendach, Tammie (Jeff) Palmitier, and Brenda Wierenga; his grandchildren A.J. (Kristen) Dufendach, Derek (Caroline) Dufendach, Ben Palmitier, Becca (Wyatt) Kuiper, Heather and Holly Wierenga; twin brother Ralph (Gayle) Conant, and sister Virginia Quigley; sister-in-laws Arlene, Norma, and Betty Conant; in-laws January Friesner, Gary and Lee Schut, Alan and Patricia Schut, and many wonderful nieces, nephews and close friends. Roger was a deacon and faithful member at Fair Haven Church for over 50 years. He worked at Steelcase for 30 years.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 4-8 pm at the Cook Funeral Home - 1889 Baldwin, Jenison, MI. Celebration of Life service will be Friday, September 19, 2014 at 11:00 am at Fair Haven Church - 2900 Baldwin, Hudsonville, MI. Pastor Greg VanderMeer will be officiating. Interment will be at Boynton Cemetery in Byron Center. Memorial contributions can be made in lieu of flowers to Spectrum Health Hospice or Fair Haven Church.
