Roger A. Finkbeiner

Roger A. Finkbeiner, age 88, of Grandville, went to be with his Lord, Saturday, September 25, 2010. Roger will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 65 years, Virginia Finkbeiner Wiesemeyer; his children, Diana Tom Bobbett, Bev Larry Geysbeek, Darryl Finkbeiner; his 8 grandchildren; his 17 great grandchildren; and his sister, Dona Fran Harrington.

Roger served in the battle at Normandy as a Veteran of the United States Navy. He owned and operated a service station for many years and then finished his career as a dispatcher for Allied Van Lines. Roger's family will receive friends from 2 to 4 PM Saturday, October 2, at Community of Christ Church, 4790 Jacob SW, in Wyoming, with a Celebration of Life immediately following at 4PM.
