Roger D. Schepers

SCHEPERS – Roger Schepers, age 66, of Hudsonville, passed away into the loving arms of Jesus on Friday, October 16, 2009 surrounded by his family. He will be sadly missed by his wife of 44 years, Shirley Smith Schepers; children, Robert D. Schepers, Pamela Daniel Scholten, and Christy Anton Barynas. He was the very proud grandpa of Presley & Parker Scholten, Joey & Ian Barynas, and John William Schepers. His brothers and sisters, Albert Betty Schepers, Joyce Nyenhuis, Carol Roger Huisingh and Kenneth Schepers; and very special aunt, Gert Robbins, his baseball and NASCAR buddy. Roger was a life time resident of Hudsonville.

The funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Monday at Fair Haven Ministries, 2900 Baldwin Dr, Hudsonville, with Pastors Gary Van Koevering, Harvey Heneveld, and Ray Steigenga officiating. Interment will be at Salem Township Cemetery. The family will meet with relatives and friends on Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, 4235 Prairie SW, Grandville West Building.
