Rose Fisher

Rose was reunited in Heaven with her husband George Fisher; and sister and brothers, Theresa Knox, Peter Zauner, and Joseph Zauner.

She will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Kim Mike Phelps of Mason, MI; son Dr. George “ Brit” Fisher III Allison of Naples, FL; grandchildren, Alexander, Nicholas, and Jack Phelps, Anna Rose, and Benjamin Fisher; sisters, Mary Thomas of Port Huron, MI, Ann Vincent of Port Huron, MI, and Elizabeth Dennis Doyle of East Tawas, MI; sisters-in-law, Francine Fisher of Kimball, MI and Mary Zerilli of Missouri; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Rose worked for Sturmers Hardware and Mueller Brass Co. in Port Huron as an executive secretary.

In 1966 she met and married George Fisher and soon afterward they moved to Jenison.

Besides being a homemaker and raising her children, Rose later worked for Direct Transit Lines and Haworth where she retired.

Rose was an active member of Holy Redeemer Parish for over 25 years.

Each week she looked forward to her ladies bible study and volunteering at Degage Ministries.

Rose will always be remembered for her incredible work ethic, gracious spirit, and wise advice.

She will be greatly missed.

A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday 10 a.m. at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church 2700 Baldwin St. - meet at church with Father Ronald Hutchinson presiding.

Interment is 1 p.m. at Resurrection Cemetery.

The family will meet with relatives and friends on Friday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home Jenison Chapel 1889 Baldwin St..

A Vigil Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Friday.
