Ruth was born March 10, 1934 in Byron Center, MI to Luther and Mable (Dixon) Irwin. She was preceded in death by her son, Ricardo Bustos; sisters and brother, Sarah Souter, Myrtle Rowe, and Louie Irwin.
She will be deeply missed by her husband of 60 years, Francisco “Frank” Bustos; children, Frank (Shellie) Bustos Jr., Lisa (Michael) Reed, Victoria (Wayne) Medendorp, and Elizabeth Bustos; grandchildren, Amanda, Shara, Krysta, Kara, Michael (Melissa), Holly (John), Jenny (BJ), Kim (Ben), Nick, and Joey; 20 great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Grandville Church of Christ, 3725 44th St. SW, Grandville, MI. Relatives and friends may meet her family Wednesday, January 17, 2018 from 4 - 7 p.m. at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center Chapel, 2067 84th St. SW, Byron Center.
