Dear Uncle Jack, Jan and Bob, Randy and Maureen, and all your wonderful family: I have so many great memories of growing up times together. I remember all the Christmas, Thanksgiving, and birthday events. Those were the "formal" times when we had to clean the house, clean ourselves to be presentable, and be on our best behavior. I remember I always thought when we were doing the mad scramble to stick things in cupboards and drawers that if Christmas was at your place that year, you probably wouldn't have been doing that as Aunt Ruth would have had your place clean as a tack 24/7. I always thought it was cute the way Uncle Jack called Aunt Ruth "Ruthie" with that boyish smile on his face. The way they worked as a team in the kitchen. I liked the formal times okay, but the times out on your breezeway where we could sit on that great lounge furniture and we just hung out and did cook outs were much more appealing. I liked hanging out with the adults...sometimes. Liked listening to grown up talk. Even the breezeway was always neat as a pin! We had some special times together and Aunt Ruth was a great "in charge" lady. Even more special was the cool team she and Uncle Jack made together. Quite special and something I will always remember. Love, Beth

To the Eckhardt Family, All my memories of childhood have Ruth in them. Going to my fathers office after swimming at the YWCA and talking to Ruth as she helped Dad finish with his patients. I know Dad would not have had such a smooth and sucessful practice without her help and support. I will cherish all the wonderful memories I have of her. Candy

Uncle Jack, Jan Davis & Family And Randy & Family We share your sorrow and send our prayers and blessings. I have only good memories! I spent the second thru half the fifth grade in Aunt Ruth's house in Houston until Ruth and Jack married. Of course in today's idiotic society, Mother & Aunt Ruth would have ended up in jail, because I was a "latch key" child. Not only that on Mon., Wed. and Fri. I couldn't play until I straightd the house up and vacuumed the floors. On top of that Fri. I had to clean the bathroom! This may seem trivial to many but the Parson girls new how to teach honor, responsibility and love, all at the same time. I am sure Jan and Randy know what I am talking about. I was a better boy and better man from those teachings.
 With us all so far apart, I was so glad that Aunt Ruth & Uncle Jack got to meet my son, Kyle. I know it meant a great deal to Aunt Ruth, because it was "Neva's" grandson.
 It is also some kind of omen that Randy and I have the same birthday just a few years apart. Hopefully we can keep in touch better than in the past. I am NOT very good at doing that!
 Our prayers and blessings are with all. May the Lord watch and conmfort you in the days ahead.
