Ruth Kuipers

She was preceded in death by her spouses Gerben Kuipers and Joseph Olewinski; son, Gerry Kuipers; parents Andrew and Corelia Dornbos; siblings Angeline Donia, Sanford Dornbos; daughter-in-law, Jan Kuipers; and son-in-law, Robert Van Kirk.

She will be lovingly missed by her daughter, Marcia Van Kirk; grandchildren Jennifer Wilkins, Eric Van Kirk, Gerben “Andy” Kuipers, Mary Kuipers, Margie Kuipers, and Shirley Kuipers; six great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Robert Donia, sister-in-law, Bonnie Dornbos; special friends Terrel “Terry” Grooters, Rev. Tom and Barb Hendricks; and many nieces, nephews.

Ruth, being active in her community, was a founding member of Zion Reformed Church in Grandville.

Funeral Services will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, January 10, 2020, with an hour of visitation prior to the service, at Cook Memorial Chapel (East Building,) 4235 Prairie, S.W., Grandville, MI 49418. Interment will be at Georgetown Cemetery.

In honor of Ruth and in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Holland or Eighth Reformed Church of Wyoming, Michigan.
