My condolences to the family of Sharon. Sharon is one of my McMonigle distant cousins. We were born just a few weeks apart in 1935. I have created a memorial for her on the Find-A-Grave web site.

Dear mom, I don't even know what to say except I'm sorry. I can't even imagine what you and my uncles are going through right now. Grandma was one of the sweetest ladies in the world but at the same time wasn't afraid to tell it how it was and that is one of the things I will miss the most. I love grandma with all my heart & soul and I thank her and grandpa for giving me the best mother a son could have. Dear Rose and Tim and Family, This day, July 11, 2009, we are all together at your home, paying tribute and honor to your mom's memory. She would be proud to see how beautifully you all worked as a team to make "Sharon Hoffer Day" a special one. She will be dearly missed at our family gatherings, at the dinners, and in the day to day. I will miss her laugh, her positive outlook on life, the strength of her love, and her welcoming ways. When her eyes changed and she had to put the counted cross stitch away, she did so with grace, even though it made her sad. At the special dinners to come, I'll miss all of us grouping around her to hug her hello. I'll miss her pineapple upside down cake. It was one of many special things she baked with love. She left a rich legacy in her family, and also in my sister Rosemary who committed herself to Sharon as a daughter. I'm proud to know you, and grateful to have known and loved your mom, Sharon.
