He is survived by his wife of 35 years Barbara; his children, Connie Rick Boerkoel, Jeff Pamela Liggett; grandchildren, Clarissa Boerkoel, Abigail Liggett; sisters, Susan Mike Gangwer, Nancy Liggett; brother-in-law Tom Ada Weaver; mother-in-law Katherine Weaver.
Funeral service will be held 4 p.m. Saturday, at the Cook Memorial Chapel 4235 Prairie St. SW - east building.
The family will meet with relatives and friends Saturday 2 - 3:45 p.m. at the Cook Memorial Chapel.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
