She was a charter member of Zion Reformed Church and was appointed the church historian. She taught Sunday School and served on many committees. She made the Wednesday night meals for over 25 years, and she with other ladies made many quilts that were donated to many organizations. More than anything she loved her family and enjoyed annual camping vacations with all her children.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Cambridge Manor and Emmanuel Hospice for their compassionate care. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Emmanuel Hospice or Zion Reformed Church.
There will be a private graveside service.
The family welcomes memories and messages in their guest book online at www.cookcares.com.
