Virgil K. Taylor

TAYLOR - Virgil K. Taylor, age 79; born September 27th, 1929; went to be with his Lord, Monday, February 23, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents Virgil and Dorothy; his brother Howard and sister Ruth. Virgil will be lovingly remembered by his wife of 60 years, Shirlee Taylor Nielsen; and five children, Howard and Carol Taylor, Kenneth and Janice Taylor, Lori and Joe Elllis, Robert and Mary Taylor, Shelly and Dan Hausermann; his 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren; his 2 great great grandchildren; his sister Janet and Roger Adams; and many friends and family.

Virgil retired from Reynolds Metals after 37 years in 1985.

Visitation will be held from 7 to 9 p.m. on Wednesday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday at the Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 84th St. SW. Funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Friday at Byron Center Bible Church, 8855 Byron Center Ave SW.
