Wayne is survived by his wife Sallie; his parents; his children Benjamin DeWitt, Katelyn (August) Lettinga and Austin DeWitt; a granddaughter Hadlie and his sister Katherine (Jason) Skrycki.
Wayne was the owner of Bio-Chem Laboratories and he was the son of Jack DeWitt of DeWitt Trenching Contractors.
Funeral services for Wayne will be held at 1 PM Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center, 2067 84th St., S.W. Wayne’s family will meet with relatives and friends Friday, May 20 at Cook Funeral Home in Byron Center from 2 to 4 PM and 6 to 8 PM and one hour prior to services at the funeral home on Saturday. A private family interment will take place at a later date.
