MEYER - William Laurence Meyer, loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, age 84 of Grand Rapids, passed away Wednesday, October 28, 2015. Bill enjoyed travel and would go anywhere mom wanted to go.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Berneice Meyer (nee Adams). He will be lovingly remembered by his children Bill (Sue) Meyer, Kris (Steve) Lurtz, Janet (Ben) McPeck; grandchildren Lance (Julianna) Meyer, Nick Meyer, Nate Meyer, Pamela Meyer, Ashley (Charlie) Lewis, Kelsey Lurtz; great grandchildren Judah, Alex, Rosie and Henry; his sisters Joan Geiger and Melanie (John) Schommer; nephews, Bob Geiger, Sam Jennings and Thomas Schommer.
William proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps during the Korean Conflict.
The family will receive relatives and friends Monday, November 2, 2015 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm at the Cook Funeral Home, Byron Center, 2067 84th St. SW.
