

William Francis Paumier, age 88 went to be with his Lord, Friday, March 23, 2018. He was preceded in death by his parents Raymond and Cecelia (DeVille) Paumier; infant daughter, Barbara Joan; and several siblings. He will be lovingly remembered by his wife, Nancy (Halloran) Paumier; children Diane (Thomas) Stoll, Lisa (Paumier) Huntoon, and Sandy (Jerry) Brown; sister, Zita Paumier; eight grandchildren, two great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
Bill grew up in Canton, OH on his family farm, served in the Navy during the Korean conflict and worked most of his career for Lear Siegler as an engineer. After his retirement he served as a para-pro in the machine shop at Creston High School and mentored the F.I.R.S.T. Robotics “Team 904.” As a testament to their strong faith and commitment to marriage, Bill and Nancy served couples for 20 years through “Engaged Encounter” in the GR Diocese. They were blessed with 60 years of marriage.
Visitation with the family will be held from 5 - 8pm Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Cook Funeral Home (West building), 4235 Prairie St SW, Grandville, MI with a Scripture Service beginning at 8pm. Funeral Mass will be held at 11am Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 3937 Wilson Ave SW, Grandville, MI 49418. Father Chris Rouech will be officiating. Interment will be at Georgetown Cemetery.
