William H. Townsend

He is survived by his loving wife, Sally; his sons, Mike (fiancAC.e Therese Hecksel) Townsend, Don Townsend, Tom (Kari) Townsend; grandchildren Joe (Shannon) Townsend, Megan Townsend, Max Hecksel, Sarah Townsend, Eric Townsend, Monique Townsend, Brittany Townsend, Brendan Townsend, Aja Faasse, Zach (Kaylee) Faasse and Nathan Faasse; his brother Jess (Carol) Townsend and many nieces and nephews.

Bill worked at Wolverine Brass for 35 years and was the local UAW President and retired from Leon Plastics. Bill was also a lifetime member of the VFW Creston Post 3023.

A celebration of Bill's life will be held 11 am Saturday, January, 14, 2012 at Resurrection Life Prayer Chapel, at 5100 Ivanrest, Grandville, MI with Pastor Dean Wheeler officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Foundation or the American Heart Association.
