OBITUARY

Darin Allen McCafferty

1 March, 1966 – 7 May, 2022
IN THE CARE OF

Chapel of the Valley-L.B. Hall Funeral Home

Darin was the youngest of three children born to Allen and Louise McCafferty. He grew up in the Shafer Park neighborhood of Hayward, CA; where he made lifelong friends and had a very active sports and social life.

Darin remained in the Bay area for many years; he became the proud father of two beautiful children; loved helping his nephews, enjoyed going to the gym and had a 25-year career with Comcast. Darin eventually relocated to Galt in the Sacramento Valley region where he and his family enjoyed the country life, horses, farm animals and of course dirt bikes and racing!

In 2011, Darin opened a new chapter in his life when he met his future wife, Liz. They adored each other, were best friends and were so happy to find the unconditional love that bound them together. They blended their two families into one, making a bigger family to love and were married. They did everything together and shared an amazing life of new experiences, along with the traditions they each brought to the family. Family is everything in this world and it was to Darin.

Darin is survived by his loving wife Liz, his children Vaughn, McKenna, Makena and Andrew, his granddaughter Paisley; as well his brother Danny and sister-in-law, Monica, their three sons and their families, Sister Denise and her family.

Your life was a blessing, your memory a treasure… You are loved beyond words and missed beyond measure. You will remain in our hearts forever.
