I always believed & felt that you were not just my sister but my GUARDIAN ANGEL that taught me many things about life that I never knew of during my teen years. Fred and I lived next to Ken and Dotty from December of 1974 until their departure for Texas.  We always stayed in touch and up on all Ken’s family.  We have memories of Diana and her children staying with Ken and Dot next store.  We also have wonderful memories of Carl, Diane, Ken , Dotty and us enjoying the quiet life of Foley, Alabama and Daphne, Alabama.  We keep your parent’s memory in our hearts still.

A young grandmother, Dianne at forty years of age.

I have many sweet memories of times shared with my sister Dianne. I’m lucky that I was able to travel to visit with her and daughter April. Husband Jim and I spent many fun days laughing with Dianne and her husband Carl. So easy to be with and even exciting adventures were made better with their company. I always thought my sister Dianne to be so beautiful both inside and out. (Even her lovely poetry showed it .) She has always been in my life. I will love & miss her the rest of my days, but I know that we will all be together again. 

I was always big brother to sister Dianne. We were as close as a brother and sister can be! Even when we are far apart, we spoke often, and eventually she and her hubby Carl moved down to Alabama to join us in retirement. She was a loving wife, and a loving mother, and a loving, gentle sister, who spent many years with her husband, Carl Johnson. She will be sorely missed by me, but she is in a better place now, with my other loved ones. I loved her very much, and I still do!
