Gayle Dower

Gayle was born in Los Angeles, and raised in Lake Tahoe, California. She made her living working in retail at Cost Plus Imports until she retired and moved to Oregon in 1995.

In her younger years she enjoyed playing sports and tailgating at "49er" home football games. Later in life,

Gayle’s focus shifted to spending as much time as possible with her grandchildren. Her grandchildren will always remember doing crafts, going camping, having sleepovers and Grandma’s support at all their school sporting events.

Gayle is preceded in death by her parents, Wallace David Benton and Clara May Benton, and brother Keith Benton.

She is survived by her loving family, husband of 50 years Ted Dower, two daughters, Linda Blaich and Kristina Noga and her 8 grandkids; Rylie Nicole, Kyler Benton, and Tylin Robert Blaich. Makenzie May, Jeremiah Keagan, Alesana Elizabeth Noela, Presley Iosefo, and Maryann Manamea Noga.

A celebration of life will be held within the next few weeks in remembrance of Gayle for all the love and heart she held. Professional services conducted by Chapel of the Valley- L.B. Hall Funeral Home. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.chapel-valley.com.
