Tim Thomas was an uncooperative and feral human who never took anything to seriously. A man that turned everything into a joke even in dark times he often tried to laugh things off or flip the script to sarcasm. He wanted his obituary posted in the funnies and often made wisecracks about how he saw it in the cartoons so he knew he could do it while driving his car on a frozen lake in Alaska. Tim was always looking for a good time and wanted to be the life of the party, often making comments that he’d rest when he was dead and how much of a good time he had while he occupied a human suit here on earth. A man of many quotes that he didn’t live by his own self yet he always had a unique perspective with a different approach on ways of teaching others. Tim was very prideful of passing on his knowledge and ideas to others and everyone who’s ever met him has some funny or quirky story of him. Tim was born in Riverside California, spent his childhood in Oregon, and finished his teen years in Fairbanks Alaska. In 1989 Tim played guitar in the band called Savage Metal and won first place as well as second place in a couple of different battles of the bands. Tim was always searching for the next project or adventure, he was a handy man always out to help others fix or build things. This made it easy for Tim to be able to move around and live off grid as he was a survivalist and a craftsmen. Tim spent some time living on the beach in Hawaii doing odd jobs and surfing the ocean waves. In 1991 Tim became reunited with his daughter married her mother and attempted to settle down and raise a family. Yet even after his son was born there was no domesticating a man like Tim. He was stubborn and set in his ways with particular patterns and concepts that weren’t for the faint of heart. This personality trait ensured that only the genuine could approach Tim in the best fitting way of acceptance to who he was. Tim loved his Nieces and Nephews as his own kids, even if he called them “buttholes” he often shared positive stories of the memories he had with them. Tim loved everybody even if he came off as gruff and tough deep down he truly was a sensitive soul who would give the shirt off his back to anyone who needed it. Tim was many things to many people, a musician, a brother, a friend, an uncle, a son, and a father. He held several interests and titles with several various job trades, from creations of unique buildings, to underground utilities, and carpentry. He had his CDL, and was certified in scuba diving. In Tims younger years he enjoyed spending time helping his father work on his sail boat and go sailing. Tim had a love for 80’s rock and would always be playing his music on some portable speaker, he enjoyed camping, going to the beach and flying his kite. Some called Tim Lurch, often comments about him being ten feet tall and bullet proof yet Tim claimed cancer was ruining his reputation. He didn’t want to suffer, or be in pain and felt great concern about his friends and family being alright after he passed. Now Tim can finally rest!
