

Angel Luis Diaz, age 94, was born in Canóvanas, Puerto Rico, and passed away peacefully on January 5, 2026. Angel Luis lived a life marked by a deep love of family, his work in the teaching field and kindness. He proudly served 20 years in the military, a testament to his dedication, discipline, strong sense of duty and where he earned the National Defense Service Medal. Beyond his service, he was known for his joy of travel, his great sense of humor, and his love for Cuban and Puerto Rican music and food. He had a special gift for making people laugh and was always quick with a joke or a smile, bringing warmth and laughter wherever he went. He is survived by his beloved wife, Reina Margarita; his children, Teresita, Dennis, Jeannie, and Tili; his grandchildren, Natalie, Michael, Grace, Isabella, Gabriella, Elizabeth, Chris, and Ashley; and his great-grandchildren, Remy and Rocco. Those who knew Angel Luis will remember him for his strong work ethic, his devotion as a husband, and the loving father and grandfather he was. His legacy lives on through the family he cherished, the friendships he enjoyed, the pride in his service, and the countless memories he leaves behind. Angel Luis Diaz will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
