Bill had a passion for history and a thirst for knowledge. He enjoyed reading his vast book collection and spending time studying the Civil War, World War II and other interesting trivia. But his true love, outside of his wife Linda, was his fascination with classic cars., He took great pride in his ’57 Ford retractable convertible, and his 1959 Cadillac, which he had for over 44 years. He could tell you every detail, how it was made and why it was important, which really speaks to his personality. He was a man who knew what he loved.

Bill is survived by wife Linda Bills, son Shaun Bills, daughter Traci Mitchell, and Steven Reed; step mother, Carolyn Bills; brothers, Johnnie and Kenneth; sisters, Teresa, Jeannette, Trisha and Vickie; Will Cook; and six grandchildren.
