Charles “Chuck” Ballard of Grapevine passed away October 28, 2014. Chuck was born January 7, 1951 at Richmond, Virginia to his parents, Ebbin and Ludmila (Stezenko) Ballard. Chuck enjoyed hiking, going to the lake and spending time with his family and grandchildren. He worked for and retired from Northwest Airline where he worked as a ticket agent. Chuck is preceded in death by his parents. Chuck is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Paula Ballard; one daughter and son-in-law, Katherine “Katie” Ballard and Elvis Omboto of Dallas, Tx; three grandchildren, Joseph, Jaydon and Jasmine Ballard-Omboto of Dallas, Tx; one brother, John Burlata of Elmwood Park IL and numerous other family members and friends. A visitation will be held for Chuck at the J. E. Foust Funeral Home Chapel at Grapevine from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. on Friday, October 31, 2014. His Funeral Service will follow the visitation at 7:00 P.M. at the J. E. Foust Funeral Home Chapel with Mr. Vennor Hackshaw officiating. Interment will be at DFW National Cemetery at Dallas, Tx at a later date.
