Keri L McSpadden, age 45, of Palestine, Texas peacefully went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, June 17, 2024. Keri had a vision four days before her passing and wanted her Mother to know she heard the trumpets.
Keri was born July 11, 1978 in Fort Worth, Texas. Keri only weighed 2 pounds at her birth. Keri's loving adoptive parents, Jay and Penny, were able to bring her home from Harris Hospital when Keri was 2 months old, weighing 4 pounds. Keri was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy when she was 10 months old and spent her life confined to a wheelchair, but that did not stop her from living a full life, always having fun with friends and family. Keri was the poster child for Easter Seals when she was three years old, and she also lit the Christmas tree lights for downtown Fort Worth at the age of three. Keri graduated from Haltom High School in 1996. Keri loved the Lord, country music, her many friends and her family.
Keri was preceded in death by her grandparents that adored her, Johnnie and Glen Johnson and Jimmie and John McSpadden, her cousin Juli, and her Uncle Gary.
Keri is survived by her mother Penny DeLuca and her husband Danny, her father Jay McSpadden and his wife Melissa, her brother Kyle McSpadden and wife Ashley and their children, Mason, Hudson, Pierson, and Ellyson, her sister Kati Marquez and husband Jose and their children, Zoe and Ava, and her Aunt Joy and Uncle Joel, and several cousins.
Her family would like to thank Palestine Healthcare and Kindful Hospice for their wonderful care.
So go run free with the Angels - Dance around the golden clouds. For the Lord has chosen you to be with him.
