It is with a heavy heart that we announce the peaceful passing of Larry Minter, at the age of 79. Larry was a beacon of kindness and simplicity, whose unwavering friendliness touched the lives of all who knew him.
Larry lived a life marked by modesty and a deep appreciation for the simple joy, like a Sam’s hot dog and Dr Pepper. He never sought the spotlight, preferring instead to live quietly in his neighborhood. His gentle spirit and gift of conversation meant he never met a stranger.
Though Larry never married, he was far from alone. He built a family of friends and neighbors who valued his companionship. His presence was a comforting constant, and his legacy is one of selfless love and enduring friendship.
A visitation for Larry will be held Monday, April 1, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM at J.E. Foust & Son Funeral Directors, 523 S MAIN ST, GRAPEVINE, TX 76051. Following the visitation will be a committal from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX 75211.
