After a long courageous fight with Unusual Interstitial Pneumonia, Lynn John Carter, age 72 of Roanoke, TX passed away February 17, 2020. He was born on August 27, 1947 in St. Louis, MO to Ralph and Emogene Carter. He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Erin Carter; children, Angela and husband Jon Roberts, Jennifer and husband Tommy Martin, Michael Carter and wife Jennifer, Lyndsay and husband Allen Hollis. Grandchildren, Andrew Carter, Jack Roberts, Jed Roberts, Mallory Hancock, Seth Roberts, Kennedy Carter, Haylie Hollis, Carter Hollis, and Chase Martin. Siblings, Ron Carter and wife Judy, twin sister Linda and husband Dave Woodruff, Mike Carter and wife Carla, and Steve Carter and wife Debbie. As well as many nieces and nephews. Also his extended family at Classic Chevrolet of Grapevine. Lynn was a true cowboy who loved horses and was a Pro Cowboy Rodeo Association cardholder. He truly loved the cowboy way of life. A Celebration of Life will be at 6:00pm, February 19, 2020 at Foust and Son Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to one of the following organizations,

You are the love of my life. In 36 years we had or ups and downs, good and bad. We always came out of it together. I will miss you more than any words can say. Although I am happy you are at peace, my hart is breaking for the loss. I can’t wait to meets again an walk through eternity hand and hand. Love you all my heart Babe.
