Robin Rae Earl Casillas, surrounded by love and now fully healed, entered into the presence of the Lord on January 5,2026. She leaves behind a legacy of love, service, and the example of how to walk with strength and courage through the darkest of valleys. Robin fully embraced a life of selfless giving to family, friends, and any person who crossed her path in need of love, a meal, a bed, or a prayer. “Speak life” was her mantra, where she chose to speak with the power of God’s promises and victories, teaching others that words have the power to create reality.
Robin was born June 28, 1955 to Gerald and Geraldine Earl in Three Rivers, Michigan. Her sister, Christine “Tina” Gooch, was always her best friend, and the two of them, with their mother, moved to Texas where they became a family with her adoptive father, Livingston “Mindy” Mendez. Robin attended Lewisville High School where she was a Farmerette on the drill team. It was in high school where she met her husband of 51 years, Tony Casillas. They had four children, Thomas “Tommy”, Travis, Timothy “Timmy” and Taylor “T”, and raised them in Keller, Texas. Robin’s favorite memories with the boys were camping on Galveston beach in the summers, cheering at hundreds of soccer games, and hosting holidays at her house for anyone in need of company and delicious food. Robin’s door was always open, and no matter who you were, her living room felt like home.
Robin served the congregation of Shiloh Church for 30 years, worked as Marketing Director at IBI for 19 years and was the Compliance Specialist at Atmos Energy, where she worked from 2006 until 2025. She was known for her gift of hospitality, even in the workplace, and for always sending cards with her beautiful handwriting to all her family and acquaintances at every occasion. She loved worship music, cooking, gardening, flowers, and any opportunity to be with her family.
“Grandma/ Rae Rae” Robin showed love to her grandchildren, Viridiana Casillas, Vico Casillas, Luciana Casillas, Gabriella Casillas, Jude Casillas, Jaron Casillas, Tucker Casillas and Thatcher Casillas as she attended so many of their events, gifted them with books and bibles to lead them, and lifted each of their specific needs in prayer daily.
While she will be deeply missed by her family, church family, coworkers and friends, Robin’s light of faith, love, and service will continue to shine through all who were blessed to know her.
Robin is survived by the love of her life, Tony Casillas, her beloved children, Thomas Casillas, Travis Casillas, Timothy Casillas, and Taylor Casillas, her cherished daughters-in-laws, Jovana Casillas, Crystal Casillas, Lindsay Casillas, and Loran Casillas, her treasured grandchildren, her sister and brother-in-law, Christina “Tina” and Wesley Gooch, and a wide circle of family and friends who were blessed by her love.
