Anna was born in Moldova (part of the former Soviet Republic), where she worked as a math teacher until emigrating with her family to the United States (Brooklyn, NY) in 1981. She started a new career in New York as a control buyer in the fashion industry, where she met several, life-long friends.
Anna will be remembered by everyone as a warm, kind, funny and affectionate person. She loved her family and spending time with her many friends. She is survived by her husband, Ion, her daughter, Rimma, her brother-in law Semyon, sister-in-law Aleksandra, nephew Alex, and lots of treasured extended family in Israel.
