WALL--Gloria l, nee Schwartz, Loving aunt and great-aunt, died peacefully March 8, 2013 at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY following a brief illness. A long time resident. of Kings Point, NY. Gloria was born in Brooklyn in 1923. She was married to Samuel A. Wall for 43 years, until his death in 1991. Gloria loved animals and endowed a scholarship at the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. Gloria was a dedicated reader of The New York Times and was always interested in debating current events. She also loved spending time gardening. Gloria and her husband travelled the world and were avid art collectors. She recently celebrated her 90th birthday in grand fashion, surrounded by family and friends. She will be missed greatly. The family asks that any donations be made to the North Shore Animal League. Services Wednesday March 13, 2013 10:00am at Riverside-Nassau North Chapels-55 North Station Plaza, Great Neck, New York 11021. Interment to follow at Montefiore Cemetery, St. Albans, New York.
