So sorry to hear about Larry's passing.  He was such a nice guy.  I worked with him at Rivkin from 1995-2000.  He was such a friendly, warm guy.  Always helpful on a work question going the extra mile to help, or a great person to talk baseball with.  Great sense of humor and humility.  My  condolences to the family on this terrible loss.

Larry and I joined Rivkin Radler in the same year and we became partners in the same year.  We shared a love of rock and roll and hockey - he was an Isles' fan and me a Rangers fan - so we had a lot to talk about in those days.  We lost contact after I left the firm, but I have only fond memories of a friend who was a mensch in every sense of the word.  My deepest condolences to Barbara and the family. A great friend...gone.  And so unexpectedly.  What a shock this news was to us.  We offer our sympathies to Barbara, Megan and Ethan.

Larry and I served on the Village of Thomason Design Review Board for years.  When he moved to the Zoning Board of Appeals, I felt the loss of his presence.  He not only provided us with legal support, but also a levity and joy, albeit sometimes with a hint of sarcasm, that always made our meetings more fun to attend.  I was delighted when he came back to the DRB this past year and am so sorry to hear of his passing.  May his memory be a blessing to all who had the pleasure of knowing Larry.

Though we were partners at the same law firm, we did not work together, different clients, different practice groups, even different floors . Nonetheless, I counted Larry among my close friends . Whether chatting about the Mets, books we both read, golf, or just general banter, I enjoyed dropping by his office to pass the time. He was a good person, and more importantly, a good person.
 To Larry’s family, I am so very sorry for your loss.
