It's been several years with no word on the health of  Michael Haber,  an old high-school friend from the Bronx.   After looking every few weeks, I found his obit, and would like to pass on my sad feelings of his passing.  to Claire and his children.  Michael was a dear person, a haimisher friend, and I think about him often.

I learned of Michael's pasing yesterday via a very touching message from his wife Clair.  I am deeply saddened by this news.  In our journey through life rarely can we say that someone has impacted our life in such a positive way
as Michael did mine. What a terrible loss to his family and friends. It will always be a pleasure to reflect on Michael's wonderful, caring manner.       God Bless you Michael.

I was shocked and saddened to hear of Michael's passing. Michael was my therapist for a number of years  and we dealt with a number of very complex issues.
 I was LUCKY  to have found him; he helped me and my family through some very difficult issues . He was the consummate professional joined to a caring and empathetic soul. I also liked his wry sense of humor which always broke the ice whenever we reached a point that was very uncomfortable for me.

Moreover he was able to use his own life experience fro help me see things I was not have see on my own and bring a contextual reality to these which made them much easier to overcome.

He was a great guy and a great therapist. So deeply sorry to hear of his passing. Our deepest condolences to Claire his wife and his children.  Our prayers are with the Haber family.
